life saver badge

today i participated in doing the life saver badge i was the only person from 40th  ale scout group and there were some scouts from hiriya school and some other scouts from another school

fist all of the scouts were at hiriyaa school learning the basics of life saving we learned a lot of valuable information about life saving

after listening to the explanation and taking a look at the pdf i leaned how to do some of the life saving skills like cpr

after doing all the basic training we all went to rasfannu beach with all the equipment to complete this badge, we brought ropes empty water bottles to float we even brought a cpr dummy

after getting into the water we all gathered up and leaned how to carry a drowning person on water, carrying a drowning person needs to be handled very carefully you need to grab the chin of the person the person who is drowning and put your left hand under the persons back or you can put some object that can float on water 

while bringing the drowning person it is a must to keep the persons head up so he/she can breathe. you can also use a rope to bring the person back to shore by tying a bowline knot.
